Untitled design (9)_edited.jpg

Move Confidently.
Stay Independent.

Stay Active.

Healthy ageing is about maintaining the ability to move confidently, stay independent, and continue doing the things that matter to you.

At Stay Active, our Healthy Ageing service supports adults as they age by focusing on strength, balance, mobility and functional movement. We deliver personalised exercise physiology services in your home or community setting, helping you stay active in a way that is safe, effective and tailored to your body and goals.

Whether you’re looking to maintain your current level of activity, address changes in balance or strength, or manage ongoing health concerns, our team works with you to support long-term movement and quality of life.

Why Movement Matters As We Age

As we get older, changes in strength, balance and mobility can impact daily activities. Targeted exercise plays a key role in:

  • Maintaining strength and joint function

  • Improving balance and confidence with movement

  • Reducing the risk of falls and injury

  • Supporting bone health and posture

  • Managing pain, stiffness and chronic conditions

  • Maintaining independence at home and in the community

Regular, appropriate exercise helps you continue moving well and feeling capable in everyday life.

Our
Approach

1. Initial Assessment
We begin with a thorough assessment to understand your health history, current movement capacity and personal goals. This allows us to create a program that is both safe and effective.

2. Individualised Exercise Program
Your exercise program is tailored to your needs and may focus on strength, balance, mobility, flexibility and functional tasks relevant to daily life.

3. In-Home & Community-Based Sessions
All sessions are delivered one-on-one in your home or a suitable community setting, removing the need to travel and allowing exercises to be directly relevant to your environment.

4. Ongoing Support & Progression
We regularly review and progress your program to ensure it continues to support your goals as your capacity changes.
